What is BodyTalk?
How often do we feel that we are swimming under water the whole time and can't seem to break the surface long enough to take a decent breath? Or even look at our surroundings to find our way? BodyTalk quickly identifies and releases the negative beliefs and emotional baggage that keeps dragging us under. It frees us to discover who we really are, what beliefs and behaviours serve us better so we can live our best life with clarity and control.
Our bodies are designed to heal themselves. We all possess an inner wisdom or life force that constantly strives to maintain harmony, growth and balance.
When this life force is disrupted by stress, trauma, or outdated belief systems, its finely tuned communication breaks down. It can't hold everything together. As a result, illness, mystery pains, disorders of the digestive system, endocrine system and disintegration of emotional health can occur.
The BodyTalk system integrates all of the body's physiological and biochemical functions, emotional and mental influences, environmental impacts and hereditary and genetic restrictions. BodyTalk is able to synchronise and balance the body's mechanisms to function optimally.
Like an iceberg, the 80% below the surface is often where the healing needs to begin. BodyTalk has been uniquely developed and structured to reveal issues on the subconscious level and to release them.
How does BodyTalk work?
BodyTalk uses your body's innate wisdom to promote healing on all levels. The BodyTalk practitioner finds out what your body needs so that the flow of healthy energy can be released throughout your body and mind.
A BodyTalk practitioner is trained to silently ask your body a series of questions outlined on an extensive Protocol and Procedure chart and by using a muscle reflex technique. Your body knows what it needs to heal and it guides the healing route to take.
In BodyTalk, your body’s choice is ALWAYS honoured. The sequence of healing (links) is determined by your body’s own innate intelligence or wisdom. Your body knows what it needs. The practitioner is the interpreter of these needs.
A special technique – lightly tapping on your head, heart and navel - initiates the repair and restores the communication systems within your body/mind.
Healing happens when parts of your body are re-synchronized and communicating with each other. Your body knows how to heal itself – it just needs to remember how!
The BodyTalk System™
The BodyTalk System™ takes an integrative approach to health care by supporting our body’s own natural healing mechanisms. A BodyTalk practitioner’s role is to restore communication systems within the body/mind. Our body’s response is to supply holistic, non-invasive ways to end physical, mental and emotional pain, relieve stress and attain optimum health.
Each system, cell and atom in the body is in continuous communication. Everyday stresses often disrupt these lines of communication or overload the energy circuits. The BodyTalk System is simple and effective; it re-synchronizes and re-aligns. This allows the body to return to its natural healthy function, effectively responding to injury and illness - as nature intended.
The BodyTalk System works by identifying the weakened or damaged internal energy circuits. Each session is individual, straightforward and no diagnosis is made. The practitioner relies on the client’s deep, inherent knowledge to locate the energy links needing repair. A form of biofeedback via a subtle muscle-reflex technique, provides this essential information.
The practitioner then lightly taps the client on the top of the head, stimulating the brain centre, requesting it to re-evaluate the state of the body’s health. The result? A delicate energy balance of the body immediately takes place.
The practitioner next taps the client’s heart complex thereby storing the corrected energy changes in the body’s cellular memory. The heart is responsible for communicating the state of the body’s health to the rest of the body.
Lastly, the practitioner taps on the navel, stimulating the 'gut brain' to process and assimilate the changes into the body.
Once the body’s ability to heal itself is initiated, the healing process follows rather quickly. Usually there are no healing reactions, although a healing response may be experienced.
