Exhausted and It's Only March?

Global stress and exhaustion is a thing. Hasn't the journey of the last two years been, well, weird? We've had two unrelenting years of change and emotional rollercoasters. And it isn't just you and me, the whole world has suffered.

Turning the Tide

Every month, I tune into a gifted energy intuitive, Lee Harris, to hear his take on the energetic pulse of the planet. In his words, we're currently "in an energetic storm".

I don't know about you, but that's exactly how I've felt. Have you found your mood or thoughts affected by what you've read, or the attitudes of friends and family? And then, just when we thought we could peep over the parapet, more global events to rock our fragile stability.

It's no wonder that our energy tanks hover above the Empty mark. When the world struggles with anger, fear, intolerance and other negative emotions, they can suck us in. And then it's really hard to fill our energy reserves.

But... thousands and thousands of people around the globe are choosing peace, non-judgement and love. You and I can tap into that and rise above the turmoil gaining mastery over our emotions. When we join hands metaphorically, we gain strength from each other and our light begins to burn brighter.

And so our energy and creativity starts to rise.

Finding Moments

How do we begin to master our emotions? Lee Harris encourages us to find moment to moment peace. To step outside and let the sun fall our own faces, to study a flower close up, to sit and listen to bird song or a piece of music. Do you have a 'distraction' that breaks your pattern of doing and allows you to be – just for a moment?

If we can string together moments of peace during our day, we will have far greater control over our emotional responses.

Healing Loop

I think too many people believe the way to master their emotions is to suppress them. Think about that for a moment.

Rather, we ought to acknowledge how we feel – I feel angry. I feel sad. I'm worried. Imagine these emotions flowing through us rather than locking them deep inside of us. By doing so, we can move past blame, shame and dependency.

What about emotions that been suppressed for years? How can those be released?

BodyTalk, when consistently applied, keeps us in gentle healing loop, circling back to release the layers of negative emotional energy, limiting beliefs and triggers. It helps us attain emotional sovereignty, a state of powerful personal freedom.
